1.Bust, Waist, Hips and Thighs








(*Wear ONLY undergarment when you measure yourself! Wrap the tape around tight enough that it just touches your body. Make sure you can breathe but cannot move around or twist in it.)

Waist, Hips and Thighs | |

5. Waist CIR* | Around the slimmest part of your waist (usually an inch or so above your belly button). (To ensure the dress won't be too tight, you might want to loosen the tape a bit by putting extra 2~3 fingers under!) |
6. Belly CIR* | Around the fullest part of your belly (Usually a bit below your belly button). (*Optional for regular dresses. Required for maternity dresses.) |
7. Hips CIR* | Around the fullest part of your hips, across the hipbone. (To ensure the dress won't be too tight, you should be in a relaxed posture when taking this measurement; and you might also want to loosen the tape a bit by putting your hand under!) |
8. Thighs CIR* | Around the fullest part of your thighs, just below your hips. You should be in a standing posture with your feet together. (This is not required for ball gowns but important for mermaid dresses. To ensure you can walk or even dance in the dress, you should loosen your tape at least 0.5~1 inch by sliding your hand under it.) |

2.Upper Body, Lower Body, and Height

9. [Front] Shoulder to Bust | Measure from one-side shoulder point (the top of your shoulder) to the bust point(nipple) on the same side. |
10. [Front] Shoulder to Waist (Front bodice length) | Measure from one-side shoulder point over bust point to the waist line on the same side. |
11. [Front] Hollow to Waist (Front center length) | Measure from the hollow at the base of your throat (center of the collarbone) straight down to your waist line. |
12. [Back] Shoulder to Waist (Back bodice length) | Measure from one-side shoulder point straight down to the waist line on your back. |
Lower Body and Height | |

13. Waist to Thigh | Measure from waist (CIR) straight down to thighs (CIR) along side of body. |
14. Waist to Hem(Floor) | Measure from waist to hem (for short dresses) or floor (for long dresses) without shoes. |
15. Height (without shoes) | Your height without shoes |
16. Heel height | You should measure the pair of high heels you would like to wear on the big day. (Measure from the middle of the heel to the sole at the outsole.) |
